Let's lift our
hand to the Most High God. Let's give Him glory, let's give Him honor, let's
give Him adoration, let's lift His name high, there is no one like Him, he is
the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Ancient of days, bless His holy name.
Give Him glory,
give Him honor, give him adoration, bless the King of kings, bless the Lord of
lords, bless the Ancient of days, bless our Help in ages past, our Hope for
years to come, bless the God of our expectations, bless the One who is the Hope
of the hopeless, bless the One who is the help of the helpless, give Him glory,
give Him honor.
Bless the One
who can cure the incurable, bless the One who can set all captives free, bless
the One who can quicken all dead wombs, bless the One who can change sorrow to
joy.
Magnify His holy
name, worship the Kings of king, worship the Lord of lords, worship the I am
that I am, worship the Ancient of days; give Him glory, give Him honor, give Him
adoration, He is worthy to be praised, He is worthy to be adored.
Bless Him; bless
the One who has kept you from January till now, the One who will keep you till
the end of the year and for several more years to come.
Bless His holy
name. He is worthy, he is worthy, He is worthy to be praised, He is worthy to
be adored, He is worthy to be magnified, praise His holy name, praise His holy
name and praise His holy name.

Father. Glory be to your holy name, thank you Ancient of days, you are

Savior, thank you Healer, thank you Deliverer, thank you Provider, thank you
the Fruitful Vine, thank you the Hope of the hopeless, the Help of the
helpless, thank you the Great physician, thank you Lord of host, thank you Lord
God Almighty, blessed be your holy name, Wonderful, Counsellor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, thank you Prince of peace.
Glory be to your
holy name, thank you forever more, thank you Lord ... in Jesus mighty name we
worship.
Brethren, when
Ebola visited Nigerian in August, we cried to God from this altar to chase it
out and He did. I know there are some people claiming the victory, but
you and I know, it is God.
Let's lift our
voices to Him and say Father, thank you for chasing Ebola out of Nigeria, thank
you for answering prayers.... In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
But there are
still some of your children in Sierra Leone, Liberia, in Guinea where there are
still in danger because of Ebola; Please lift your voice to the Almighty
God and say Father; if only for your children's sake, destroy Ebola this
month......... In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
And then here at
home in Nigeria, Boko haram has become a monster. Let's cry to God and
say Father, before the end of this month wipe out this organization called Boko
Haram... .... In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Brethren, some
of us are parents and we have daughters, those of us who are not parent, we
have sisters, imagine the horror of the Chibok girls in the hands of these
terrorists.
Lift your voice
to the Almighty and say Father; the earth is yours and the fullness thereof,
wherever this Chibok girls are, rescue them tonight, bring them back home
Lord......... In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Lift your voice
to Him and say Father, this is the last Holy Ghost service of this year, please
reach out to me tonight....... In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
I have a father, Almighty father, He is King of kings and Lord of lords

for chasing Ebola out of Nigeria. Thank you for chasing Ebola out of Nigeria,
accept our thanks in Jesus name. Father, in all the nations where Ebola
is still raging, we are asking that you will send down your fire, consume this
demon in Jesus name, before the end of this month, consume Ebola in Jesus name.
Father fight for
Nigeria, destroy this terror organization called Boko Haram, this very month,
expose all their sponsors and destroy them also in Jesus name.
Don't let
Nigeria drown, come to our aid, help us oh Lord. As for the Chibok girls;
my Father and my God you know where they are, rescue them tonight in Jesus
name.
Lord, every one
of us here tonight, we need your help, from the east, send help to us, from the
west send help to us, from the north, send help to us, from the south, send
help to us, from heaven above, send help us to us.
My Lord and my
Savior, all our expectations, tonight, let them be fully met in Jesus name.
And all those
who are listening to us by Radio and by Television and on the Internet,
throughout the world, please Lord God Almighty, reach out to them in Jesus
name, send help to them in Jesus name, send help to them also in Jesus name,
meet their needs also in Jesus name, at the end of it all together all over the
world, let us be able to glorify your name.

PRAYERS FOR THOSE BORN IN
NOVEMBER
Father, I want
to commit into your hands, all your children born in the month of November;
November is the eleventh month of the year, and eleven is ten plus one. I
pray Lord God Almighty, that for this your children; your blessings will be
more than sufficient, let their miracles be more than enough.
Let their
testimonies be more than enough, let their joy be more than enough. Let their
promotion be more than double and let their dedication to you, be more than
enough, let all their expectation be met this month in Jesus name and let them
serve you till the end in Jesus name.
Thank you my
father and my God. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Those born in

MESSAGE: THE GREAT EXPECTATION
If you look at that picture
(The Holy Ghost service banner) you can see the woman with the issue of blood
you see her reaching out to the garment of someone. Who is that someone? Jesus!
My text is taking from Mark 5
v 25 -34 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and
has suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and
was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came
in the press behind and touched his garment for she said, if I may touch but
his clothes I shall be whole. And straight away the fountain of her blood was
dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague and
Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned
him about in the press and said who touched my clothes? And his disciples said
unto him, thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, who touched
me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the
woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down
before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy
faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Everybody who
came here today with one problem or the other, in the name that is above every
other name, you will not go back with that problem.
Proverbs 24 v 13-14 if I
summarized it; it says wisdom is like honey, because the wise shall be rewarded
and his expectation shall not be cut off, he said my son, eat honey because it
is good. Eat honey comb it is good for your taste, he said so will wisdom
be to you when you find it, he said, because there will be a reward for you if
you are wise and then your expectation shall not be cut off.
Wisdom comes from knowledge;
wisdom is the correct application of knowledge. And if you want to be wise you
study those who have gone before, study what they did so that they became what
they became.
That is why we choose to study
this woman with the issue of blood who was incurable, who has spent all she
had.
Who was constantly draining,
she was losing blood, losing strength, losing money, losing joy, losing hope,
draining, she was like someone who is under a curse.
It doesn't matter how hard she
tried, instead of things getting better it got worse. One day this woman
decided that enough is enough.
Is anybody here who would say
I am tired of suffering?
How many of you
will say enough is enough to suffering? And the Lord will surprise you tonight.
She decided to be full of expectation
when she was leaving home. She said number one; if only I can contact the Great
Physicians, not doctors now, the doctors have tried, they have failed, but if I
can contact the Doctor of doctors, if I can contact Someone who will not refer
my case to somebody else because there is nobody else to refer to, she said I
know I will be made whole.
Somehow she knew there was
Someone called the Great Physician according to Exodus 15 v 26 the Great
Physician, the Lord that Healeth thee; she knew about Him.
She knew somehow that this
Great Physician is the One who created me according to John 1 v 1-3 in the
beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God, the same was
with God from the beginning.
And by Him all things were
created and there was nothing created that was not created by Him.
Somehow she knew that, that
Word is the One who became flesh and He is already walking among us, she knew
He was the One, if I can just contact Him.
She probably have heard the
testimony of what happened in Mark 3 v 1-5 when Jesus came into the synagogue
and found a man with a withered hand, the hand was good once but it had
withered, it has shivered up.
And Jesus has simply said to
the man, "stretch forth your hand", the man stretch forth his hand
and was made whole.
She probably had heard the
testimony, because there was a controversy about it; because Jesus healed that
man on the Sabbath day, there are some people who did not want Jesus to heal on
the Sabbath day; they kept talking about it so she probably heard.
I want you to
know my brother and sister, there is Someone here tonight whose name is Jesus;
He created you, if there is any part of your body that has withered, He will
restored tonight.
And if there is
a part that He cannot repair, He will replace it tonight.
She came with tremendous
expectation; if only I can come in contact with the Great Physician.
Some of you, who are old among
us, will remember the story of a woman who was sent home from the hospital
because the doctor said there is nothing more we can do for you, go home.
Don't waste your time anymore
in the hospital. Just go home and spend some time with your children till you
die, just go home and prepare.
The woman said to the children
take me to the head quarter of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
It was a week day, the
children said "mama they have no program today, no service; no digging
deep, no faith clinic, Nothing!"
The woman said "did I say
anything about service?"
Mama, what we are saying is
that "the pastor will not be there".
"Did I say anything about
a pastor? »I said take me to the church",
They said "ok".
She said "help me, take
me close to one of the pillars, because I know if I can touch one of the pillars
I will be made whole" and they helped mama to the pillar and mama touched
the pillar and mama was healed instantly.
Because she came with
expectation, if I can only make contact with the Great Physician, just through
anything in the Church I know I will be made whole.
Are you ready to have the
faith of a child tonight? If I ask you to do something childish will you do it?
I want you to touch the floor and then touch your head, say I receive my
healing.
If you believe that let me
hear you shout halleluiah!
The woman left home saying if
only I can make contact with the One who is the source of fullness of life, I
know this my drainage will end.
Not only will my drainage end,
He will fill me up again. Somehow she probably had heard where Jesus said in
John 10 v 10 the thief is the one who has come to steal, kill and to destroy,
but I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.
If I can contact Him I know, I
am draining, I am loosing blood, I am loosing strength, I have lost all money,
I am loosing hope but if I can touch the Source of all fullness I know He
can command my drainage to stop. And fill me up again.
I know in the past He has
taken very little and turned it to much.
I know in 2 Kings 4 v
1-7 that once upon a time there was a widow heavily in debt and the creditors
were closing in to sell her sons, they wanted to reduce her to nothing, all she
had then was a little bottle of oil and in the hand of all Source of all
fullness that was enough.
Yes, I am draining, but I
still have a little strength left and the word of God says, He gives strength
to the weak, He said if those who will just wait upon Him, He will renew their
strength. If I can just touch Him; I know He will put an end to my drainage.
I don't know to
whom I am talking but there is someone here who has been suffering drainage;
physical drainage, financial drainage, drainage of joy, drainage of hope, in
the Name that is above every other name because you came tonight, that drainage
will end tonight in Jesus name.
I have told you before of a
time when I went to preach somewhere in Lagos to a group of eminent
personalities.
Before the service they said
that I should wait in the living room of the one where they were holding the
meeting. They were holding the meeting in a very beautiful background, when you
get there you won't even know you are in Nigeria.
And I was going to preach on:
YOU NEED A MIRACLE, but when I got into the sitting room and I saw that where I
was seated, there were five seating rooms in ascending order of splendor, I
said I better change my sermon.
I said I better change my
sermon to "OH THAT MAN WILL PRAISE THE LORD.
But the Lord spoke to me and
said no! If anyone needs a miracle they need it here because there is just one
boy in the home who was a drug addict, draining the resources of the family
constantly, draining their joy, draining their finances, draining everything.
I thank my God that, that very
day He intervened.
In the life of
someone here today who is suffering from any form of drainage God will
intervene in Jesus name.
In the Old Testament when a
woman is having her normal circle, she is not supposed to even come to church
until everything is dried up.
And here is this woman, her
own was continuous, and when somebody is like that, it is regarded as a curse;
it looks as if a curse must have fallen on her to get her into this kind of
trouble.
So this woman left home with
the expectation that if I can only contact the Supreme Judge of the universe;
who rules by decree, who speaks and it is done, He can cancel my curse and
replace it with a blessing.
Because in Genesis 18 v 25 the
Almighty God is described as the Judge of the universe, the Judge of the whole
earth.
In Psalm 33 v 8-9 it says when
God speaks it is done, so this woman is saying if I can get to Him maybe He
will pass His own judgment and cancel the judgment against me.
After all Numbers 23 v 19-20
the Almighty God has said in His word, He said when God blesses no man can
reverse it.
I am praying for
someone here tonight, if the source of your problem is a curse form whatever
angle; from your father, from your mother, from your in-laws, from anybody.
If the source of your problem is a curse, that curse will be destroy
tonight.
You know there are problems
that you yourself will know this is not ordinary.
I think I have told you the
story before of a man who any time he is about to succeed something will happen
and he will miss it.
And he thought it was natural
until one day, they phoned him from Abuja, "congratulations, you have won
the contract come and collect the papers", he said "thank God
breakthrough at last!" Ran to Ikeja boarded a plane.
While he was in the plane, the
chairman called the fellow and said wait a minute, have we awarded such and
such a contract?
Yes sir, we have awarded it to
so and so.
No, no cancel it.
So he arrived in Abuja drove straight
to the office rejoicing, he got there, the man who phoned him, said "sir
see, it was awarded that I why I phoned you but it has been canceled".
It was at that stage that he
said 'I think my case needs help'.
When he told us we said this
is not an ordinary case there is a curse.
Anyone who is
here tonight living under a curse; whether the curse is bringing you sickness,
bringing you sorrow, or bringing you bareness or brining you poverty, the curse
is destroyed in Jesus name.
The woman left home with great
expectations that if only I can contact the Fountain of joy, He will end my
sorrow, if I can contact the One who is the Fountain of joy, my sorrow will
end, after all it is written in Psalm 16 V 11 it said in the presence of God
there is the fullness of Joy, let me get to His presence.
After all it’s written in
Psalm 2 v 1-4 that when heathens gathered together to destroy, there is Someone
in the heavens who will laugh at them.
I decree
tonight; all those who have been holding meetings as to how to make sure you
remain in sorrow, God will laugh at them tonight.
The Lord asked
me to tell someone here, He said, yes the doctors are right, what they said is
correct, He said, but I will show them that I am still the Doctor of doctors.
The Lord said
there is someone here tonight; He said the very people who blocked your way
shall make a way for you.
This woman said if I can
contact the Fountain of joy, He will uproot the mountains of sorrow in my life.
After all Psalm 90 v 1-2 made
it clear that He has been our help in ages past, He will be our hope for years
to come and before the mountains were brought forth He has been there.
He knew the foundation of my
sorrow, if I can get to Him, He will uproot this sorrow from the very bottom.
I can tell you many, many
stories you know them. But maybe you have forgotten one of my daughters who was
sacked wrongly, dismissed from her place of work.
And she took the company to
court because she did nothing wrong.
They just sacked her and
because those who sacked her were powerful people, they kept on
"seeing" the judge so that the case was constantly postponed.
And so, she was at home for
seventeen years waiting for justice.
And then she came to one of
the Holy Ghost service and God said
"There is
someone who has a case in court next week and said this time judgment will be
given in her favor".
She jumped for joy.
The following week she was in
court and this person said "we want to apply for adjournment" and the
judge said "no way!"
No more adjournment.
I'm given my judgment right
now; you sack this woman wrongly, you must pay her for the seventeen years, you
must pay her for the seventeen years you kept her at home.
Because there is
a God who can uproot mountains of sorrow. Every mountain in your life that is
causing you sorrow, in the name that is above every other name, it shall be
uprooted tonight.
This woman was helpless, I
mean, if you are sick, what do you do? You go to the doctor, if one doctor
cannot help he will refer you to another and then to another, and if you have
money, you spend.
But she can't cure herself,
she has spent everything, she was now helpless. And she left home saying if I
can contact the Help of the helpless, there is Someone who can help the
helpless, if only I can get in contact with Him, I know He will help me.
Psalm 46 v 1-3 made it clear
that there is Someone who is the ever present Help in the time of trouble.
After all, in Isaiah 41 v 10-
13 I think that passage is for somebody here tonight. The Almighty God
promised; He said I will hold your hands and I will say unto you, "fear
not" unto you, fear not, for I will help you.
I thank God for the song
rendered by the choir and I am sure we will hear that song again during the
congress.
Based on Psalm 121 they sang
it from beginning to the end.
David said "I will lift
up my eyes unto the hill from whence comes my help; my help comes from the Lord
who makes heaven and the earth.
When a man is
down, if they have beaten you flat, physically you are down, financially you
are down, in every other areas you are down, there is only one way to look up
to, if they beat you to the ground, don't worry yourself, lift up your eyes,
there is Help up there and tonight that Help of the helpless is going to lift
the hand of somebody and say 'I will help you'.
Again, I remember another
story, and I tell you all these stories because when you hear the one in the
Bible and hear the one that is happening right now, some of the old ones here
will remember: there was this young man who was the manager of a bank and have
been having a running battle with somebody in the family, finally he became
completely mad.
I mean he was so mad that he
was breaking houses and he became mad in the middle of the night.
So when they saw him breaking
into houses they thought he was a thief, they called the police.
They put handcuffs on his
hands and feet and then realized he was mad not a thief.
They were taking him to Aro
(Asylum in Nigeria) something within him said this is not a medical case,
"take me to the Camp, I know if I can get to the Camp, God will set me
free."
So they brought him here, the
Camp was very small then, I was there fortunately.
They said this is what this
man said, that if his feet touches the ground he will be made whole.
I said "ok if that is
what he said, it is ok, bring him down".
They brought him down,
I said "remove the
shackles".
They said "no, no, no.
You don't know what we went through before we could arrest him".
I said "this man said if
my foot touches this ground I will be made whole, I will be set free".
They said "sir, will you
accept the responsibility?"
I said "I will",
They removed the handcuff,
they removed the shackles and the man was completely whole, absolutely whole!
Would you like
to do something childish again and tap your feet to the ground and say, I will
bury my problems here tonight! If you believe that let me hear you shout
hallelujah!
This woman left home knowing
that as far as human beings are concerned, her case was hopeless, but somehow
she knew there is Someone who is the hope of the hopeless, if only I can
contact Him.
I know my hope will begin to
rise again.
Colossians 1 v 27 says Christ
in you, the Hope of glory, this woman said wait a minute, my case is desperate,
critical, but there was somebody called Lazarus in John 11 v 39-44 when Jesus
said they should move the stone from the tomb of Lazarus, the sister said,
"this is a hopeless case, by now he's been dead for four days and he is
already stinking."
This One who is the hope of
the hopeless, brought this man back to life.
I am not dead yet, my
case is not as hopeless as that of Lazarus if I can get in contact with Him I
know my hope will begin to rise again.
There are some
of us, have been told by human beings, by scientist, by professor by those who
know and who should know that there is no hope for us, I have come to tell you
in the name that is above every other name that tonight, hope will spring up
again in your heart.
Have I told you the story
before? Of a woman who came from America to the Holy Ghost service in London,
in London they called it Festival of life.
She has been barren all her
life and she has stopped menstruating for years, suddenly the word came that
"there is someone here in the crowd and God says I am removing 10 years
from your life."
She said "it must be
me"
She turned to her sibling and said
«don't call me auntie anymore I am even younger than some of you now".
They thought she was joking. A
few minutes later the word of God came and said "there is someone here
that you have lost hope of ever having a child, nine months from now you will
have a baby boy".
She said "I told you, God
arranged this meeting for me".
When she was sharing her
testimony a year later, the baby boy was three months old.
There is
somebody here tonight, they have told you there is no hope for you; my God will
surprise you.
By the way I don't know if you
have heard the news, you remember that my pastor who was married for thirty three
years and she has been waiting.
Until the word came, and said
"there is someone in the crowd, the waiting is over."
How many of you remember the
case? Ok, after thirty three years, God gave them a baby girl.
But then there were some
people who said 'we are not sure, married for thirty three years; the wife was
well over fifty, husband old'. 'We don't know whether they got this girl by
adoption', well, I have news for you now; God has added a boy to the family.
And God did this one in a very
special way, he allowed the boy to arrive two weeks premature, so that people
can come and visit the mother and the baby at the hospital so that they will
know for sure this one is no joke at all.
I decree to
someone here tonight, in all areas where they say no hope for you, you will
testify.
When this woman was leaving
home she was in the middle of a storm, very big storm, physical storm,
financial storm, marital storm; because with the issue of blood who is going to
marry her, talk less of having children.
But she said 'if only I can
contact the Prince of peace, He will still my storm'.
Isaiah 9 v 6 tells us that
Jesus is the Prince of peace and He has stilled storms before.
Mark 4 v 35-41 the Bible says
that what manner of Man is this, that the wind and the sea obeyed Him and He
hasn't changed, He is still the Prince of peace.
According to Hebrews 13 v 8
Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever.
He has stilled storms before,
He will still storms again.
The Lord said
there is someone here tonight, He said every organ in your abdomen needs an
overhaul, He said, I will do it for you.
Daddy says there
is someone here tonight, it appears as if your blessing are already trickling
in He said get ready they will soon be flooding in.
The Lord says
there is a student here, He asked me to tell you that the present subject that
is troubling you, you will soon become an authority on that subject.
The Lord said
there is someone here He said very soon you will be rendering help to those who
called you the helpless one.
Now, I talked about God
stilling storms before and doing it again, I have told you story upon stories
of storms because there are some of you who are probably here for the first
time, some of you who are listening throughout the world for the first
time. I will tell you the story again.
I told you the first real
storm I got into, it was in our beloved Nigeria Airways of blessed memory.
I was travelling to London and
when we got to Heathrow the captain announced that we had a little problem that
the landing gear refuses to come out.
Those of you who travel by air
you know what that means.
I was travelling in first
class because somebody brought the ticket for me.
There were a lot of big people
in first class; I was looking at them and am sure they will be looking at me
saying "what is this boy doing here?"
Once the captain made the
announcement that day I discovered that rich people don't want to die.
There was commotion every one
of those people who has been behaving as if butter will not melt in their
mouth, big men fear death!
It is amazing. There was a
woman sitting behind me, who was saying oh God! And you know I was going to
London to go and take care of my grandchildren. Nobody asked her?
And there was a man there, he
had a golden walking stick and on top of the walking stick there were diamonds.
Since we left Ikeja, he has
been pretending to go to the toilet just to show us the golden walking stick,
but this time he really wanted to go to the toilet.
Because they have asked us to
fasten our seat belt but he got up and was going to the toilet. The air hostess
said, sit down, sir, he said "who said so?"
And I was afraid! I am telling
you the truth, anointing or no anointing. Quickly I began to examine my life;
is there anybody I offended, is there anybody I didn't settle with because it
looks as if we are on our way to heaven.
I mean, if the landing gear
will not come out, it means we are going to crash land.
And then the captain added
fuel to the fire, he said "ladies and gentlemen, don't worry, you know the
firemen in Heathrow are very efficient" fire! You mean we are going to
catch fire?
Then God spoke to me, because
I said, oh God, you didn't tell me this is how it's going to end, last night I
was saying goodbye to my son.
He asked me to bring him a
toy, I told him I will. You didn't say this is how it is going to end? God
spoke and said "you are not going to die".
I prophesy to
someone here tonight, you will not die.
He said I want to talk to you
and I know as soon as you land, they won't let us talk.
Don't worry, I just want to
talk to you. Then I realized, for another forty five minutes the plane was
going round and round and I was enjoying myself talking to my Daddy because I
made contact with the Prince of peace.
Somebody here
will make contact with the Prince of peace.
And so because He had done it
before, when another storm came, I was able to relax.
And I am saying
this to somebody who is passing through a storm tonight; remember He stilled a
storm for you before He will do it again.
So I will tell you one more
story on that.
This time I was travelling I
think it was British airways and we just left Nigeria, they just started
serving us when the captain said "ladies and gentlemen, by the time we
arrive at Heathrow there will be a storm but don't worry we will manage to
land".
The moment he made the
announcement the man sitting next to me froze.
But because He has stilled a
storm for me before I wasn't worried at all.
So I just went ahead and I eat
my food, the man next to me didn't eat his own.
Now this time around I was
traveling economy and the food in the economy you know is always small.
So when I finished my food I
looked in his direction, I said "sir, you are not eating?" he looked
at me surprised! "You mean you heard? you can speak English?, you heard
what the captain said?
I said "yes".
He thought I didn't understand
English and must have been looking at me out of the corner of his eye; Look at
this fellow eating, he didn't know what is coming.
So I said "you are not
eating?" he said "no", I said "can I?"
He said "go ahead"
so I took his tray and I gave him my own.
I finished the food and I went
to sleep.
When we got to Heathrow the
captain came back and said ladies and gentlemen, the weather boys deceived us
the storm that they said will be in England is actually in Scotland.
I looked at the man, he looked
at me. It was too late for him to get back his food, I laughed and he laughed.
Glory be to God. But then I
heard God speak and said "son, the weather boys were not wrong but because
of you I diverted the storm".
In the last Holy
Ghost service of this year if there is any storm coming your way this year, it
shall be diverted in Jesus name.
This woman left home with
great expectation that if only I can contact the Author of faith, just in case
my faith is too small, if only I can contact Jesus because according to Hebrews
12 v 2 He is the Author and Finisher of our faith, if I can contact Him after
all, all He said in Mathew 17 v 20 is that if I can have faith like a muster
seed I will be able to move mountains.
If my faith is not big enough,
maybe like the man in Mark 9 v 23-24 who cried to Jesus, when Jesus said if
only you can believe, all things are possible to those who believe, and the man
said I believe but help thou my unbelief.
I believe, but I am not sure
my faith is big enough, if it is not big enough, help it.
Some of us came here tonight
because of what has happened to us in the past, because of some prayers we have
prayed since January and we haven't seen an answer yet.
Our faith is now beginning to shake;
I have good news for you. The One who is the Author and Finisher of faith will
help your unbelief.
The woman came expecting if I
can contact this God, the sovereign One, the One who does as He pleases, maybe
He will overrule my doubt because you need to put yourself in the shoe of this
woman to understand, if I can touch the helm of His garment, I shall be made
whole.
What if I touched the helm of
his garment and nothing happens? What if I am not able to reach Him? What precedent
will I say I am following?
But she remembered that in
Genesis 18 v 9-14 when this Almighty God said to Sarah, you are going to have a
son and Sarah laughed God ignored her doubt.
Yes, it is God who said the
just shall live by faith.
He just decided that alright,
I have decided to bless you even though you are laughing at me I will ignore
it.
This same God in 2 King 4 v 8
-17 overruled the doubt of the woman of Shunem because when the man of God said
to her, "you are going to have a baby boy" the woman said "man
of God don't deceive me, I don't believe you".
You know from time to time we
get to a stage in our Christian walk and we don't even know what to believe
anymore, we have believed and nothing seems to be happening.
We have prayed we don't seem
to be getting results, we have attended Holy Ghost Services, we have attended
Congresses, we have attended Conventions. We have heard the testimonies of
others, but when will my own time come?
There is a God
in heaven who can meet you at the level of your faith!
That Leper in Mathew 8 v 1-3
said I know you can do it, but I am not sure whether you will make you clean.
He said I will meet you at
that level, He reached down and touched him.
When we were first born again
as children in the faith, miracles was happening per second, but then as we
grow older it seems things are not that easy anymore.
And we begin to wonder why, it
has happened to everybody you are not the only one.
You will not be the first
fellow to doubt.
The Almighty God told Abraham,
Abraham is called the father of faith;
"Abraham"
"Yes, Lord",
"Come out"
"Yes Lord".
"Look at the star, can
you count them?
"No",
"So shall your children
be"
The Bible said he laughed so
much he fell on his face, father of faith!
John the Baptist, when they
threw him into prison and he was expecting Jesus to come and deliver him and
Jesus didn't come.
He sent two of his disciples
to go and ask Him,
"Are you the One to come
or do we expect another? John the Baptist, the greatest of the Old Testament.
Jesus himself said there won't
be anyone born of a woman that will be greater than John the Baptist.
And he is the one who said
"behold the Lamb of God who taketh the sins of the world"
And he's the one who said
"The One who sent me said
"On Whom you see the Holy Spirit descend on, like a dove, that is He"
he said it.
But when trouble came, when
the water reached to the neck, he said
"Are you the one to come
or do we expect another?"
So if you have any doubt, if
your faith is weak tonight, welcome to the club! Am sure you will say daddy G.O
don't tell us that you have ever had doubts before?
Really?
I tell you a story the fellow
concerned is here, I was visiting our Church in Ilorin in my early days as
General Overseer, just when I was about to leave they told me, (they came from
the maternity center)
"Sir, we have a serious
case"
What is the serious case?
There is a woman who has come
to deliver and she has said that she had made a covenant that on the day of
delivery she will die.
So I went there, woman,
She said, sir,
Is it true that you say
on the day of delivery you will die?
She didn't answer.
If you want to die why did you
come to our maternity center?
She didn't answer,
So I prayed for a safe
delivery and I left.
Soon after I left, the baby
came by then the midwife discovered there is another baby in the womb.
They waited throughout the day
the second day, the baby didn't come, throughout the next day, second baby
didn't come.
Woman, please, let's take you
to the hospital,
She said "no I am here I
am not going anywhere".
The third day the brethren in
Ilorin came to meet me in Lagos;
Daddy the woman you prayed
for, soon as you left, she delivered the first baby. But we have been expecting
the second one, that one hasn't come out till now.
The moment I heard that one
and I heard that the woman is the one covenanted to die, my heart checked.
But as General Overseer I have
to put up a strong face, 'is that why you came? Who told you the God in Lagos
is different from the one in Ilorin'. 'Take a bottle of coke each and go back
before you get back the second baby would have come'.
'Yes, sir' so they left.
As soon as they left I ran
upstairs to my prayer room, I fell on my face and said, oh God this is the day
of trouble, you said if I call on you in the day of trouble... I am a human
being like yourself.
It was a Saturday I remembered
it like yesterday. And suddenly God spoke to me and said
"I thought you told those
people that before they got home, the problem would have been solved".
I said "yes"
"So you didn't believe
what you said?"
I said "I believe; I
believe after they have gone I will come and sort the matter out with you".
And the Lord said if you
believe, then go and eat.
I said you know tomorrow is
Sunday, I am fasting, I am preparing.
He said "go and
eat"
I eat, but up till today I
don't know if the food passes through my nose or mouth, I can't tell.
But before they got home, not
only has Kehinde come there were two babies still in the womb and they all
came.
I am sure those children by
now will be almost thirty years old.
Is your faith
shaken? Are you in doubt? Because you came tonight the author and finisher of
faith will reach out and help your unbelief in Jesus name.
The woman came with great
expectation, thinking if only I can contact the merciful One so that if all
else should fail; His mercy would come to my rescue.
The Lord says
there is someone here He said very soon, very, very soon your testimony will
be, all my enemies are gone.
The Lord said there
is someone here tonight He said very soon, congrats, your Jesus did it at last.
Ephesian 2 v 4 says our God is
rich in mercy, one of the wealth of the Almighty God is mercy and according to
Lamentation 3 v 22-23 it is of the mercies of the Lord that we are not
consumed.
That we are alive at all today
is because of the mercy of the Lord. And if that mercy can keep us alive
up till today then that mercy will see us through. Thank you my father and my
God.
The Lord said there is someone
here tonight; he said you should prepare for three major divine visitations.
It is the mercy of God that
kept us till today that mercy will keep us till the end.
I tell you a story and then we
will close. Some of us know the story.
There was this old elderly man
and a prophet saw him and said sir, "thus said the Lord you will die this
year."
What have I die done?
The prophet said not a matter
of what you have done or not, the Lord is saying, "Put your house in order
you will die this year."
The prophet said no, you are dying
this year.
Ok. So the man thought for a
while and said "prophet help me talk to God to let me leave till December
31, after all December 31 is still part of this year".
Ok, tell God, please allow him
to leave to see December 31
So the prophet said "ok,
I will pray".
Came December 31 very early in
the morning, the man got up and ran to the Church at Ebute Metta, he didn't
want a case of the bus having an accident.
He trekked all the way into
the church, got there very early. Soon as he entered the Church, he said the
death that will come and kill me in the house of God, I will wait and see.
He sat down there throughout
the day until we came for the watch night service. When we said happy New Year,
he said yes, I beat death.
I will see you in the New
Year!
There is
somebody here tonight; I will see you in the New Year, in the Name that is
above every other name your appointment with death have been postponed.
Now in conclusion, this woman
didn't sit down at home, she moved, she made a move.
You know many people have lost
their miracles because of laziness, the congress is coming now, I have told you
and by the special grace of God you know I won't lie to you, that the coming
congress is going to be the best we have seen so far.
But do you know some people
will sit down at home and they will say 'we will watch it by television, we
will watch it by the internet'.
I can understand those who are
in Australia, I can understand those who are in Haiti, I can understand those
who are in Papua New Guinea, I can understand those who are in Fiji, I can
understand those who are in America, who for one reason or the other cannot
come. I can understand,
But there are those who are
within three hours driving distance;
'We will watch it at home' and
there are miracles that when God says there is someone here he is talking about
someone on the Redemption Camp.
You know the Bible says the
lazy man went hunting and he caught some animals, but he's too lazy to roast
the animal.
Do you know that if Jesus were
to come to the doorsteps of some people they will be too lazy to touch the helm
of his garment?
I remember one Sunday after
the congress I was at the Ebute Metta the National headquarter, and I said all
those who were at the congress not raising your hand.
I was amazed! Why didn't you
come? 'We were watching it on television'. It is my prayer that laziness will
not rob you of your miracle.
And then some people will say
I will come on Friday, I will be there on Friday, when the Almighty God in His
infinite mercy decided to give you six days of heaven on earth and you say you
want only one out of the six.
The woman moved; she was
dying, she moved, she was draining she moved, she acted. That is one.
Two, the Bible says God knows
the end from the beginning, before the woman left home God knew, nothing is
hidden from God.
How come she got Her Miracle
so easily?
Because God knew she would
testify. Do you know the reason why many of us have not received more than one
miracle since we were born again is because we didn't testify?
The elders have a saying that
when a child is grateful for what he's done yesterday he will receive another.
There are many of us who have
received a miracle from God, share your testimony.
Jesus knew this woman would
come; she might tremble, she might be afraid, but she will come forward and say
'see what God has done'.
We are expecting miracles from
the Almighty God, we are expecting mighty breakthroughs but our mouth is
sealed, we are not telling others what God has done for us, we are not
advertising Jesus, we are not witnessing, that is what is hindering our
miracles.
I remembered sometimes I went
to hold a Holy Ghost Service, some of the town outside here and God told me how
many people He will heal.
When I was in my prayer room,
He said I will heal so many people tonight. When the time came for testimony I
said those of you who have been healed Come.
And I saw a few people in
front what is happening Daddy? Did I hear you wrong?
Then He dropped a word in my
spirit, I said alright those of you that He has healed who refused to show it,
I will tell Him to take His healing back.
Suddenly they began to rush
forward.
Why do you want to hide the
goodness of the Lord?
Why did you say you are a
Christian and you cannot witness for Jesus Christ.
And then, in conclusion, there
is power mighty in the Lord, we all know that, there is only one thing that can
stand between you and contacting Him tonight, according to Isaiah 59 v 1-2 He
says the hand of the Lord is not shortened that He cannot save neither is His
ear heavy that He cannot hear but your sin has separated between you and your
God that He will not hear.
Anybody can touch God by
faith.
We can't see Him face to face,
but without any doubt he is here, because he said in His word where two or
three are gathered together in my name I will be there.
He is here! And like the woman
with the issue of blood, all he is waiting for is for you to reach forth your
hand and touch Him.
But if there is sin in your
life, sin will stand as a barrier, but glory be to God, the Bible says the
blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins, which means if you come to Him and you
bow at His feet and you ask Him to save your souls and you ask Him to wash you
clean with his blood.
He will do it.
He made a promise that
whosoever will come unto me, I will no wise cast away, all you have to do is
come and cry to Him for mercy and He will wash you clean in His blood.
He will wash you clean in His
blood, He will save your soul and will be able to make contact with Him and
your expectations shall not be cut off.
So if anybody wants to give
his or her life to Jesus, even though you are going to Church, you know you are
still living in sin, Come forward.
And if you are listening by
Radio or listening by the Television or watching by Internet and you have not
yet surrendered your life to Jesus and you want to do so, all you have to do is
to go on your kneel and begin to cry unto God for mercy right now and He will
save your soul.
And if you write to me, I am
sure I will continue to pray for you so that you will remain standing.
For those of you in the front,
begin to cry unto the Almighty God, ask Him to have mercy on you and save your
soul.
Promise Him that you will
serve Him for the rest of your life. And the rest of us, let's stretch our
hands towards these people that the Almighty God who save our soul will save
their souls too, that He will have mercy on them.
..... In Jesus mighty name we
have prayed.
Almighty God, I want to say
thank you, thank you for your Word, thank you for these your children who have
come forward to surrender their lives to you.
Father you promise that
whosoever come unto you will no wise cast out, they have come to you now
Father, please, receive them in Jesus name, forgive them in Jesus name, let
your blood was away their sins in Jesus name.
Please save their souls, write
their names in the Book of Life, please Lord from now on anytime they call on
you please answer them like fire, don't let them go back into the world, let
them serve you till the end in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Those of you in front let me
hear you shout hallelujah!
I am rejoicing with you
tonight because from now on I will be praying for you.
And very soon you will be
receiving miracles, some that you did not even ask for will come your way, then
you know there must be somebody somewhere praying for you and that person will
be me.
So I am going to need your
name, your address and your prayer request. And I promise you I will be
praying.
Even if you have doubt, even
if your faith is shaken, maybe one of your prayer point is God help my
unbelief, but if you pray with all your hearts tonight, I am sure the Almighty
God will answer you.
PRAYER POINTS

Praise Him for His mercy that kept you alive till this moment.

Father, I promise you I will testify of any breakthrough that may come my
way.

Father, if my faith is too small, please help my unbelief.

Father, please have mercy on me today and my family today.

please hold my hand and help me.

Father, please uproot every mountain of sorrow in my life.

Father, put an end to every drainage in my life
8.
Father, please don't let my expectations be cut off
9.
Father, another year is ending please remember me before it is too late.
10. Then ask for your own expectations.
